WMC was founded in the year 2000 and has over 80 years of combined experience in its core management team's areas of expertise.  Our team is comprised of personnel who have served in the field, as well as in supervisory and management capacities, 

Due to our many years of working together prior to forming WMC, we have developed a unique efficiency as a team and have forged strong relationships with regional vendors, labor unions and engineering firms that prove beneficial in the projects we pursue.

Jim Waneka – President  Jim has 29 years of construction and management experience. Prior to forming WMC Mechanical twelve years ago, Jim's work experience included U.S. Engineering, Natkin & Co., and Murphy Company in Denver, Colorado, and St. Louis, Missouri. He has experience as a field superintendent, project manager, scheduler, and project engineer. He has managed numerous multi-million dollar projects. He has managed construction work for IBM, Syntex Chemicals, Amgen, the USACE & Roche Pharmaceuticals. Jim attended the University of Colorado.

Jack Bowman – Lead Estimator Jack has 35 years of mechanical field experience. He has worked on large projects both locally and across the United States. His construction projects have included power houses, paper mills, hospitals, sewage plants, industrial plants (3M, Kraft, etc.), and oil refineries. He has experience as a foreman, general foreman, superintendent, and project manager. He currently is lead estimator for WMC Mechanical.

Adrian Ondatje – Project Manager  Adrian has 13 years experience in the sheet metal field as an estimator and installer. He has served as superintendent on multiple large construction projects, including the Kansas University Medical Center (6-story hospital) and the Manhattan, Kansas, City Hall. Adrian has completed the union sponsored, 4-year, indentured, sheet metal training program. Prior to his employment with WMC, Adrian served as a Foreman in St. Louis for Vogle Sheet Metal.

Jill Lea – Director of Office Management Jill has 13 years of experience in construction accounting since attending MSU. She oversees aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, project detail reports, cost control and currently has a staff of six, which managed billings in excess of eighteen million dollars in 2008.

Ken Bartholomew – Safety Manager  Ken has 24 years of experience since graduating from Pittsburgh State University. Before joining WMC, Inc. Ken worked for M.K. Washington Group and TIC. Ken has been a primary force in improving our safety record, implementing many instrumental policies to improve our safety protocols. Ken has experience as a superintendent, project manager, scheduler, and project engineer. He has management experience on numerous multi-million dollar projects.
