Rebuild entire munitions disposal system including: New primary combustion kiln and building and associated conveyors, foundations and disposal system, secondary combustion chamber and 60” vent stack. Fabricated and installed all blast doors and control instrumentation. Repaired and renovated surrounding damaged buildings. This was a 90-day, 13,300 man-hour project. We have recently been awarded the green-field construction of two more munitions-disassembly buildings at this facility.

Southwest Power Station Shutdown
Demolished existing scrubber (800 Tons of Steel), demolished ball mills and conveyor system, demolition of I.D. fan, recirculation fan and associated ductwork to the boiler, installed blinds on boiler and precipitator, insulated and installed new exterior lagging/box ribbed siding and flashing, removed insulation on boiler feed water line for mechanical integrity testing and reinsulated, installed 8” feed water valve, modified boiler seal trough, installed new weir plates for cooling wet-bottom, installed a new inconnel seal, reinsulated superheat headers. Worked approximately 25,000 man-hours without an OSHA incident.


Current and Recent Industrial Projects Include:
City Utilities, Springfield, MO - JRPS Unit 5 Outage
Consisted of replacing three Fuller Ball Mills with four Raymond bowl mills. Demo of existing HVAC ductwork, process piping, steam lines, concrete foundations, electrical, and equipment. Installed new foundations, install new Raymond bowl mills, new HVAC duct, piping to burners, motors, electrical and insulation. Approximately 1.6 million pounds of steel was removed to scrap. WMC worked approximately 17,500 man-hours without a first aid.

City Utilities, Springfield, MO
Retrofit existing Unit 3 Buell precipitator with new curtains, and electrodes. Reconstruction based on Merrick proposed design. Project consisted of removing 700 existing panels and reinstalling 590 curtains, high and low voltage hangers, rapper rods, sway brackets and insulation. And Install new Marley design 4 cell Cooling Tower basin, sump pit, 48” transfer line and electrical installation.
